If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place.  Ardeche is not about shopping, or running from museum to museum.  People come for wilderness of the massif central, outdoor sports, the peace and quiet of the countryside, and hearty French cuisine - especially chestnuts, goat's cheese and the local chardonnay. While there are plenty of activities for families and adventure enthusiasts nearby, St Laurent and the Plateau de Coiron remains a quiet step off the beaten track.  We've pulled together the basics here - how to find us, photos of the house and pool, and activities in the area.
